Jonathan Wertz

(BJJ Black Belt)

Jonathan received his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in November of 2004, after 6 years. He is Gustavo Machado’s, a 2nd degree Black Belt under Roberto ‘Gordo” Correa, first student in the United States.

Jonathan is a 2002 Pan-American Silver Medalist, 2000 Pro-Am Silver Medalist and a 2002 VABJJF Gold Medalist.

Jonathan is foremost a wonderful father and husband. He is also a brilliant martial artist who loves the art of Jiu-Jitsu and has a great desire to pass his knowledge and skills on to his students.

Dan Gleaton

(BJJ Black Belt)

Dan has been studying martial arts for most of his life. He is Jonathan Wertz’s very first student and attained his black belt in only 4 short years, a feat which has only been accomplished by only a handful of Americans.  He has dedicated his life to the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle training 2 to 3 times a day 7 days a week. His hard work on the mat has paid off as Dan has competed and won numerous tournaments at every level. He has been regarded as one of the toughest  competitors in the area.

Dan is known throughout the Jiu Jitsu community as being one of the most dedicated and hardest workers in the game. His passion for the sport shows through his teaching and training.

Ian Alexander

(Muay Thai Instructor)

Ian started training in 1999 at Linxx Academy under Frank Cucci. He is a certified full instructor under Ajarn Chai, the president of the Thai Boxing Association of America.

He is the youngest and fastest to ever receive a certification as a full instructor under the Thai Boxing Association. Ian has developed and instructed Defensive Tatics training programs for local and federal law enforcement units.

He boasts over 12 years of Muay Thai experience and has won National and Regional Muay Thai Championships including the WKA national Muay Thai Champion, Thai Boxing Association World Tournament Silver Medalist,IKF Eastern Regional Kickboxing Champion.

Ian has coached and cornered many amateur and professional fighters including current UFC competitor Mackens Semerzier.
